The most incorrectly known delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) is related to lactic acid. Lactic acid disappears in the body 2 hours after exercise. Some of them go to the liver and some of them settle in the muscles and serve as fuel. DOMS is a common symptom after starting a new exercise routine or after increasing the intensity or duration of your program.
